The protections are structural - built into how every payment works, not bolted on afterwards.
Verified receivers
Nobody unverified can be paid. Ever.
Before a host can receive a single baht, they prove their identity with a live selfie check and add a Thai bank account in their own name. There is no way to pay around this - the system will not create a payment to an unverified receiver.
No bank details in your hands
You never handle your host's bank details.
Your host enters their own bank account inside their own secure verification flow. You can't see it, you can't type it, and no one can trick you into 'correcting' it - the classic changed-bank-account scam has nothing to grab.
Real obligations
Every payment is tied to a real stay.
Payments settle amounts your host confirmed for your specific stay - never open amounts to bare account numbers. A payment that shouldn't exist fails before the money moves, not after.
When something goes wrong
A paper trail, and people who can act on it.
Every payment has a receipt, a purpose and a status both sides can see. Refunds return to the card that paid. If a dispute is ever needed, the evidence - lease, confirmed amount, verified receiver - already exists.

You never handle your host's details
Your host proves who they are and enters their own bank account, inside their own secure flow. You could not type it for them if you tried.
