The Thailand condo move-in checklist.
Before the suitcase opens, record the condition, keys, meters, inventory, contacts and rules that will matter again at move-out.

Move-in day is the cleanest moment to create a shared record of the home. Once furniture moves and weeks pass, memory becomes a poor witness. Spend fifteen deliberate minutes before you unpack.
Record what changes or disappears
- Wide photographs of every room, followed by close-ups of existing marks or damage.
- The inventory, including appliances, furniture, remotes, access cards and keys.
- Electricity and water meter readings where you can access them safely.
- Anything not working, sent to the host or manager in writing on the same day.
Learn how the building works
Save the juristic office hours, maintenance process, delivery location, visitor rules and emergency contact. Ask which requests belong to the building and which belong to your host. Knowing the right door matters more than collecting many phone numbers.
Keep the beginning with the stay
Store the signed inventory, condition photos, deposit receipt and lease together. The value of a stay record is not only convenience today. It is having the right evidence when the home changes hands again.
